Spring Break 2002
It did not start out as a great day. My friend Brian and I had hiked miles up a narrow, muddy creek without finding a decent point. All that changed when I saw two large novaculite preforms eroding out of the creek bank. I hollered Brian over, and he helped me scratch them out of the earth after I took a quick photo. There were nine blanks all told, all of blue-grey novaculite - only the second cache I'd ever found in years of collecting!
